Hi, my name is Karen Harbaruk and I am a self-taught Canadian Artist living my entire life in
Saskatoon, SK with a side of lake life at Iroquois Lake.
I started my artistic journey in 2018, just in time to help me through the isolation of Covid and the start of a convenient retirement. I am drawn to the luminescent colours and shadows of watercolour but also enjoy the detailed strokes of dry media like graphite, pastel and ink. Subjects that induce a sense of calm, happiness and memories of good times is what I try to convey to you, the viewer, for I truly believe that everyday there should be at least one reason to smile and that could be from Just One Look.
